Our Turnover Cleaning Process

Step 1 - Inspection

Our unit turn-over process begins with an inspection. After an initial walk-thru our team begins their work which includes our strategy of high to low and dry to wet.

Step 2 - Remove All Loose Trash

We begin by removing all the loose trash scattered throughout the unit. We then dust and wipe down all corners, baseboards, wall-plates, vents, ledges, blinds, ceiling fans, and light fixtures. We clean each shelf in every closet, wipe down all doors, and clean every window. We clean out the utility area making sure that the washer and dryer are pulled out and thoroughly addressed. The patio door, the patio, and/or the deck are all cleaned. After each of these tasks are completed the hard floor and carpeted areas are all vacuumed and edged.

Step 3-Kitchen

In the kitchen we vacuum out every cupboard and drawer. We then spray these surfaces with a degreaser that begins to melt the contaminants that have built up. We follow the degreaser process by wiping everything with a rag, detergent and hot water. We pay close attention to the details such as the unseen surface areas like on top of the cupboards, etc. We will also wipe down the light fixtures, walls, wall-plates, and vents.

Step 3- Appliances

Refrigerator
After the cupboards and general surfaces are all addressed, we begin to clean each appliance. The range hood, microwave, and dishwasher are all sprayed with a cleaner before we scrub them with hot water and detergent. The refrigerator is pulled out to clean the walls and floors behind the fridge. We are also able to wipe down all the external surfaces of the fridge at this time. The fridge is then pushed back in place and opened up. We remove every shelf and tray so that we can thoroughly spray our cleaning agent and then wipe each individual piece with a rag, detergent, and hot water.

Range/Oven
Now we turn our attention to the range. The range is pulled out so that we can clean the wall and floor areas. The sides and back of the range are sprayed with a cleaning agent and scrubbed with a rag, detergent, and hot water. We then push the range back into place and proceed with the internal cleaning. We treat the carbon and grease with a solution that loosens and melts the soil so that we can scrub and wipe it out with hot water and detergent.

As we work our way out of the kitchen, we spray down the floor and base under the cabinets so that we can hand wash these areas with a rag, hot water, and detergent.

Step 4-Bathrooms

We start the bathroom process by dusting the ceiling, lights, vents and corners. We then vacuum the counter, drawers, and floor. After the dry cleaning part is complete, we begin to clean the shower and tub. The shower doors are removed and treated with the same chemical that we treat the tub and tile surround with. After this chemical has had time to loosen all the lime and scale, we use scrub pads and a hot water detergent solution. The tub and surround are rinsed with clean water and then the doors are rinsed, dry wiped and reinstalled. We then move to the toilet and treat it with a descaler so that all the contaminants are loosened before we clean it with a rag, hot water, detergent and sanitizer. The sink, the faucet, and counter are cleaned in the same method. Every drawer is opened and wiped out before a final wipe of all external surfaces. We do a final dry wipe of fixtures, doors, lights, towel racks, wall plates, mirrors, and all chrome. When the bathroom looks perfect, we then spray a cleaning agent on the floor and baseboards before we do a final scrub and wipe out with a rag, and hot water mixed with a detergent sanitizing solution.

Step 5- Carpet Cleaning

After all of these areas are thoroughly cleaned, we begin our carpet cleaning process. The carpet is pre-sprayed with a chemical that is uniquely designed to loosen and lift soil and spots before extraction even starts. We then begin our hot water extraction process that rinses out, vacuums, and removes all the chemical and soil. After we have extracted all the dirt, soil, and spots, we apply a post-spray that sanitizes the carpet as it returns the fibers to a neutral PH level.

Step 6 - Details

We do our final walk-through. This is the time that we address any details anywhere that might have been missed. We are sure to close the windows and blinds, set the thermostat, turn out the lights and rake the carpet before we lock the door. After a period of time to allow drying, your unit is now ready for your new tenant or owner to move in and begin to enjoy their new place that has been professionally cleaned and sanitized by our highly trained team members.
